Bogdan Gaita has been appointed executive vice president at BOSS Crane & Rigging, an affiliate of the Bennett Family of Companies, and will be tasked with leading the BOSS Projects division. He joins the company from Sarens, where he most recently served as general manager.

“This group [BOSS Projects] is dedicated to providing innovative solutions for the energy, advanced technology, and space industries,” said Thomas Baldree, executive vice president of BOSS Crane & Rigging. “Notably, BOSS Projects will play a key role in supporting the deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs) across the USA.”

The new locations, meanwhile, are now fully operational and equipped to deliver BOSS Crane & Rigging’s range of crane rental services.

The Florida location is a leased property in Orlando that includes a 2.5-acre (1-ha) yard and strengthens the company’s presence by enabling the team to better serve clients and execute complex projects throughout the region.

In Texas, the 7-acre (2.8-ha) facility, located in Midland, establishes an operational hub in West Texas that will further enhance BOSS’ capabilities and accessibility across key markets.

Baldree said: “As we enter the second half of 2025, we are confident in our position to deliver exceptional crane and rigging services to our clients across the southeast with lifting capacities from 8 to 900 tons (7.2 to 816 tonnes).”

In support of this growth, BOSS has also expanded its fleet with the addition of eight all-terrain cranes, ranging in capacity from 50 to 900 tons (45 to 816 tonnes), since the start of 2025.
