Concargo appoints oil and gas expert

September 2 - Concargo (Pty) Ltd South Africa has appointed energy, oil and gas specialist Shawn Fraser to head up the company's Johannesburg branch and also to be national operations manager.

20 years of experience gained within the freight and logistics industry and being exposed to the highest level of local and international project management, specialising in the petrochemical, gas and oil sectors, makes Fraser so invaluable in his new role at Concargo (Pty) Ltd, says Concargo.

Most recently, Fraser worked in clearing and forwarding and project management within the offshore oil rig environment in association with Soekor / Mossgas (Petro SA).

"I know that Shawn will add tremendous value to our business in all our dealings", says Concargo chairman, David Kruyer.

Concargo's services include abnormal heavy haulage, national and over border road haulage, mobile crane supply, warehousing solutions and mission-critical logistics.
