Montreal-headquartered CSL Group has acquired a 50 percent stake in Norway-headquartered shipping and logistics company Peak Group and subsequently launched Peak CSL Group to target the European market.
The partnership consolidates Peak Group and CSL’s shortsea shipping operations in Northern Europe. Together, they will offer a range of of marine logistics solutions to industrial clients across Europe, particularly catering to the offshore renewable energy sector. This will cover rock and ballast logistics support for offshore wind farms, turnkey material transfer solutions, and a fleet of project carriers that includes low-to-zero emission vessels, all facilitated by in-house engineering capabilities.
