Scruttons (NI), part of Denholm Logistics Group, has acquired the Belfast-based specialist steel stevedoring company William Reid.
Denholm said the acquisition emphasises its continued commitment towards Belfast and Ireland. Formed in 1930, William Reid provides stevedoring, port agency, shortsea brokering and logistics services. In addition to investment in equipment and infrastructure, the company has also developed specialist quayside steel handling facilities.
Scruttons managing director, Robert Allen, said: “The acquisition of William Reid is a natural fit for Scruttons.
