Manora Logistics has appointed Chad Heymann as business development manager in its South African team.
Heymann joins Manora Logistics from Air Menzies International.
A recent project in South Africa saw the company manage an inbound project shipment from China into Cape Town. The shipment consisted of 128 tonnes of wooden plywood, 8 tonnes of rebar and 46 tonnes of steel construction framework, with the materials destined for the construction of a mining quarry development in South Africa.
Manora Logistics was responsible for the port operations and discharge coordination, as well as cargo handling and the onward logistics. The company said that the project, ”required precise planning, close collaboration, and hands-on execution to ensure everything moved safely and efficiently”.
