Project freight forwarder deugro has shuffled its North American leadership team with Jeff Smith becoming vice president and country manager of deugro USA.

Smith brings nearly three decades of experience in the logistics sector, having worked for the likes of Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) and DSV prior to joining deugro in 2011. In this role, he will oversee operational and commercial performance, as well as ongoing organisational developments across the USA.
Ryan Blewett, who became vice president and country manager of deugro USA in May 2025, will move into the role of vice president, strategy and development for deugro in North America. He will focus on strategic initiatives, targeted business development and leading key strategic accounts.

Tobias Schultz, president of deugro in North America, said: “Jeff and Ryan will play a pivotal role in advancing our growth ambitions and strengthening operational excellence, with a clear focus on developing new markets and driving expansion in deugro’s project and supply chain logistics across North America.”
HLPFI reported last month that deugro had delivered a 30-tonne LNG service station from Spain to Chile.
