DSV extends offer period for Panalpina 

DSV has extended its main offer period for the CHF4.6 billion (USD4.6 billion) acquisition of Panalpina by 15 days. 

The offer period, which was due to end on June 26, has been extended to July 17. 

As a result, Panalpina is postponing its extraordinary general meeting, where the current board of directors were likely to approve the nomination of DSV’s Kurt K. Larsen, Thomas Plenborg, Jens Bjørn Andersen and Jens H. Lund. 

Originally scheduled to take place on July 16, the meeting will now be held on August 6 in Basel, Switzerland.
