Belgium-headquartered lifting, transportation, construction and engineering services provider Dufour Group has acquired compatriot heavy lift and transport company Jean Boutique.

With the acquisition, operations in Auvelais, Baudour, Herstal and Trith-Saint-Léger will join Dufour’s network throughout Belgium and France. 

The addition Jean Boutique’s fleet of mobile, electric, mobile and tower cranes, as well as its gantries, tractors and trailers, Dufour’s fleet now includes more than 550 lifting devices with capacities up to 800 tonnes. 

According to IMAP, which acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the family shareholders of Jean Boutique, through the acquisition, Dufour intends to increase its market share in the fields of industrial maintenance, plant assembly, heavy lifting, logistics and civil engineering. It also aims to strengthen its position and foothold in Belgium, particularly in the Walloon region.
