Express Mondor continues expansion

Canada’s Express Mondor has completed the acquisition of Transport L’Épiphanie and integrated the entire team and assets into the Express Mondor Group.

As a result of the transaction, the Express Mondor group now has two complementary divisions specialising in non-standard transportation and an expanded fleet of equipment to offer customers high-quality transportation services in Quebec and the USA.

The combined fleet comprises more than 100 tractors and over 300 trailers.

Through the integration of the two companies, Express Mondor says it can accelerate its growth by combining the two businesses’ transport fleets, labour forces, skills and expertise.

The integration of Transport L’Épiphanie forms part of Express Mondor’s development plan, which has already seen the oversized transport specialist sign an agreement with Quebec Stevedoring Company Limited (QSL) and Groupe Robert at the beginning of 2018.

According to Express Mondor, the agreement aimed to create one of the largest heavy hauling and oversized transportation consortiums in Eastern Canada.

QSL is the majority shareholder of the new entity, Mondor-Watson, while Express Mondor’s team run daily operations.
