Fesco Transportation Group has signed an agreement with the Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport (VNIIZhT, a subsidiary of Russian Railways) to cooperate on a number of railway projects in Russia.
Under the agreement, Fesco will assess the feasibility of proposed projects. The transport operator said it will examine how to optimise processes such as port logistics and Customs clearance through the use of digital technologies.
The agreement follows the launch of Russian Railway’s corporate accelerator programme in 2019.
