A Customs and warehouse logistics service provider, the Turkish firm will now trade under the name Sienzi Lojistik – a Company of Gebrüder Weiss. The transaction is due to be tied up in January 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Murat Doğan remains managing director of Sienzi Lojistik and continues to hold a stake in the company. Also serving as vice president of the Turkish Customs Warehouse Association, he said: “This partnership allows us to broaden our service portfolio and promote Türkiye’s role in international trade.”

Gebrüder Weiss and Sienzi Lojistik have been collaborating in Türkiye for near to a decade. The company’s bonded warehouse plays a key role in handling imports, exports and transhipment operations. Amongst 15,000 sq m of open storage space and 6,000 sq m of enclosed logistics space, the logistics site in Istanbul has 6,000 sq m of enclosed bonded warehouse space, 1,000 sq m of open bonded storage, as well as 1,000 sq m of office space.

The Sienzi Lojistik facility boasts 6,000 square m of enclosed logistics space.

With this acquisition, Gebrüder Weiss said it is strengthening its Istanbul hub as a full-service logistics centre whilst exploring new business sectors, including textiles and industrial clients. “Istanbul’s location – at the crossroads of Europe and Asia – makes it a strategic gateway to numerous markets. We see significant growth opportunities in this region,” said Thomas Moser, director and regional manager Black Sea/CIS at Gebrüder Weiss.

HLPFI reported last month that Gebrüder Weiss had established a new country organisation in the Philippines.
