Work is already underway from Harlyn’s Rotterdam office.

Rotterdam offers direct access to Europe’s largest ports, a solid transport networks, and proximity to a large proportion of its customers, said Harlyn. The company believes that, with this new facility, it can engage earlier, act faster, and coordinate more closely with teams on the ground – particularly for projects that demand tight deadlines and precise execution.

Hamish Adamson, manager director at Harlyn, said: “Opening in Rotterdam isn’t just about expanding geographically. It’s about enhancing our service to clients across Europe. With this new base, we can offer even more responsive, efficient, and tailored support for high-complexity transport and engineering projects.”

The office in Rotterdam has already been put to work, having recently completed a project that involved the design and fabrication of cable baskets in support of a major offshore wind development. As well as offshore wind, Harlyn also works within the oil and gas and critical infrastructure sectors.

Earlier this month, Harlyn added SPMTs to support a busy summer period for the company.
