Ian Martin Jones passes away

We are sad to report that Ian Martin Jones, ex-HLPFI editor, passed away peacefully earlier today.

Ian was appointed editor of HLPFI in 2012 and retired from the position in 2015 having celebrated 50 years in the editorial business that year.

He previously edited Air Cargo Week for over ten years. His career also included a decade on London's Fleet Street and more than 30 years' editing publications covering air, sea and multimodal freight logistics.

Further details about funeral arrangements will be announced in due course and a tribute published in the next issue of HLPFI.

He will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
