Jumbo Offshore and Intermoor have formed a strategic alliance aimed at enhancing services to the offshore oil and gas and floating wind sectors.

The strategic alliance intends to jointly deliver fully integrated project management, engineering, transport and installation services to the offshore oil and gas and floating wind sectors. Intermoor is Acteon’s business line responsible for moorings and anchors.

Bringing together Intermoor’s competency in mooring systems and engineering with Jumbo Offshore’s heavy lift transport and installation capabilities, the strategic alliance will provide end-to-end solutions spanning engineering, pre-lay, transport, tow-out and hook-up for FPSOs, FLNGs, floating storage regasification units (FRSUs), and floating wind foundations.

“This partnership is built on mutual respect and a shared vision for the future of offshore energy and specifically the deepwater mooring market,” said Brian Boutkan, director commerce at Jumbo Offshore. “By integrating our services, we’re eliminating bottlenecks and delivering a safer, more predictable pathway from planning to execution. It’s a win-win for operators, developers, and the industry at large.”

Intermoor will lead tow-out, station keeping, and hook-up operations, with Jumbo Offshore chiefly tasked with the pre-lay of deepwater mooring systems using its DP2 heavy lift crane vessels. Both companies will jointly provide project management and engineering services.
