Tim Killen has been named global head of growth – project logistics at A.P. Møller – Mærsk.
Killen previously worked at project freight forwarder deugro. He held numerous roles at the company including vice president global key account manager and executive vice president. He most recently served as chief sales officer.
Shipping giants A.P. Moller - Maersk and CMA CGM are joining forces to accelerate the decarbonisation of the industry, with the aim of working together to develop the use of alternative greener fuels for container vessel propulsion.
Maersk has secured green methanol from Dutch producer OCI Global for the maiden voyage of the world’s first methanol-enabled container vessel. 19 vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2024-2025.
