December 16 - Liebherr has opened a new subsidiary office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The new operation will house sales and service staff from the company's mobile and crawler cranes, deep foundation, tower cranes and concrete technology product divisions.
Liebherr has had a presence in rented offices in Dammam for the past 12 years but decided to build its own modern office complex in the region. The facility provides warehousing space for spare parts supplies and large components. Liebherr also has offices in Jeddah and Riyadh.
The manufacturer explained that the new Dammam complex represents its commitment to its local customers and partners, despite the current tough situation in Saudi Arabia, with extremely slow investment due to the low oil price.
