Houston-headquartered UTC Overseas has opened an office in Singapore to better serve clients across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Sven Hergemoeller, executive managing director, APAC, will lead the office and spearhead UTC’s activities across the region. He joins UTC from deugro and boasts 30 years of industry experience across the APAC region.
Mirko Knezevic, UTC’s chief operating officer for global projects, said the establishment of the Singapore office reinforces the company’s commitment to an important economic hub. “Singapore and the broader APAC region represent significant growth opportunities for UTC. This strategic location enhances operational efficiencies, expands UTC’s service capabilities across all industry verticals, and strengthens support for our global client and partner network.”
In December, HLPFI reported that Ralph Stierli had joined UTC as director of special projects; meanwhile, in October Pedro Widmann was appointed as director, global project development at the company.
