Mark Lomas has been appointed as director of European operations at international marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore.
Lomas joins Aqualis Offshore from London Offshore Consultants (LOC), where he held the role of director of shipping.
Commenting on the appointment, David Wells, ceo of Aqualis Offshore, said: “Mark is a master mariner with specialist competence in marine casualties including high profile salvage and wreck removal operations. Mark brings with him 16 years of experience in marine claims including collision investigations, cargo claims, hull and machinery instructions, total losses and pollution incidents."
