USA-based logistics firm JAS has appointed Manuele Mazzacurati as interim chief commercial officer and Angus Haig as its general counsel and chief compliance officer.
Mazzacurati currently serves as executive vice president of global sales and marketing, and has nearly 18 years of experience at JAS. He takes up the role of interim chief commercial officer role following the departure of David Bang, who is pursuing another opportunity outside the organisation.
In this expanded role, Mazzacurati will continue to steer global sales efforts while ensuring continuity and alignment across JAS’s commercial priorities.
Haig, meanwhile, has more than 30 years of international legal and corporate experience. He previously served as senior vice president and general counsel at Cox Automotive and held senior legal roles during a 19-year tenure at The Coca-Cola Company.
JAS said these latest appointments reflect the company’s continued focus on global growth, innovation, and delivering value to its customers.
This follows the recent news that the company is progressing with plans to acquire specialised freight forwarder, project logistics and ships agency provider Pentagon Freight Services with the signing of a share purchase agreement.
