September 4 - Lloyd Fonds generated EUR700,000 (USD779,000) in consolidated net profit for the first half of 2015, with sales up 20 percent compared with the first half of 2014.

Lloyd Fonds said that the positive result was attributable to recurring proceeds generated by active management of the equity volume, amounting to EUR1.7 billion (USD1.89 billion).

Considering its "sound financial status", Lloyds Fonds confirmed that is still working on repositioning itself as a listed shipping company.

HLPFI reported in April 2015 that Lloyd Fonds' ambitious plans to inject 11 single shipowning entities through a non-cash equity offer, in which limited partners would receive shares in the company, were initially unsuccessful.
