April 12 - Bremen-Based Megalift GmbH has invested in a Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1, saying that 350-tonne capacity mobile crane is a great fit for the company's requirements.

Specialising in crane rental and heavy goods transport, Megalift's existing fleet boasts lift capacities between 200 and 500 tonnes.
Company owner Bernd Preuße said: "The Liebherr crane offers good load capacities and for a 6-axle machine offers outstanding logistics handling".
The LTM 1350-6.1 is the first Liebherr crane in the Megalift fleet, although a second machine has now been ordered: a LTM 1200-5.1 with a 200-tonne lift capacity.
The new acquisition was put to work immediately on a wind energy project, which is a major business sector for the company, where it undertakes maintenance work, as well as dismantling outdated wind turbines.
Megalift GmbH was founded in 2002 and currently employs 18 staff.
