February 15 - Rickmers-Linie has appointed Richard Stinchcombe as CEO and representative director of Rickmers (Japan) Inc.
Stinchcombe, who succeeds the late Yoshiaki Kawabuchi, started his career with Chiyoda Corporation and later joined Japan Heavy Lift Inc, which was the agent for Rickmers-Linie between March 2003 and June 2006.
Stinchcombe assisted Kawabuchi establish Rickmers (Japan)which opened on 1 June 2006, and he has since been representative director and COO of the company.
