John Bel Edwards has appointed Walter Leger to the board of commissioners of the port of New Orleans, USA (Port NOLA).
Leger will serve a five-year term on the seven-member board, succeeding Arnold Baker.
The port commissioners also serve as directors of the New Orleans Public Belt Corporation (NOPB), a Port NOLA subsidiary.
