June 17 - Orient Project Shipping has announced that it will be the exclusive commercial agent of United Heavy Lift (UHL) for the countries of the ASEAN group, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

The shipping line was launched in April 2015 and now has a fleet of 21 multipurpose heavy lift ships, six of which have a lifting capacity of up to 800 tonnes, operating tramp services worldwide.

Singapore-based Orient Project Shipping is a ship brokerage and agency specialising in the ocean transportation of project and heavy lift cargoes for more than 25 years.

HLPFI understands that this new appointment does not conflict with Orient Project Shipping's existing representation of Peter Döhle's small MPP and mini/midi bulk vessels, which continues.

As previously announced and reported by us here the combined AAL/Peter Döhle fleet of 26 vessels will consist of a combination of A-Class, S-Class, T-Class and G-Class ships from AAL's fleet, with lifting capacities ranging from 120 to 700 tonnes; as well as F-Class, M-Class and C-Class vessels from Peter Döhle's fleet, with lifting capacities ranging from 120 to 480 tonnes.
