Aker Solutions, K2 Project Forwarding and Meriaura have formed a partnership for the transportation of offshore modules.
Under the terms of the agreement, Meriaura’s open deck carriers will undertake the transportation of steel modules destined for Aker Solutions in Norway. The contract spans the next two years. Meriaura will execute multiple shipments originating from various Baltic Sea ports throughout 2024 to 2026.
“We have previously executed several projects for K2 Project Forwarding and Aker Solutions, and we are pleased to be entrusted once again as a provider of such demanding heavy cargo transports,” said Beppe Rosin, ceo of Meriaura. “These shipments align seamlessly with our transport profile and cargo flows, and this contract significantly contributes to optimizing our operations in our main market area.”
K2 Project Forwarding’s role will be to ensure efficient and timely execution of the transport operations, as well as coordinating communications between Meriaura and Aker Solutions.
