This coincides with the retirement of current president and ceo Shaun Stevenson who has led PRPA in that role since 2018.

Slocombe, meanwhile, joined PRPA in 2019 as vice president, operations, planning and infrastructure. He has an extensive background in gateway operations.

“Kurt is a proven leader who is well equipped to lead PRPA through this transition period,” said Peter Lantin, board chair of PRPA.

The board of directors is currently conducting a comprehensive search for a new president and ceo.
