Subsea 7 has expanded its Renewables & Heavy Lifting (RHL) business unit to improve services to its clients in the offshore energy sector.
Subsea 7 said the RHL unit now comprises four divisions: Seaway Heavy Lifting (SHL) manages and performs the transportation and heavy lifting of offshore structures; Seaway Offshore Cables (SOC) manages and performs marine cable installation, trenching activities and related IMR services; two regional divisions, Seaway Renewables North and Seaway Renewables South, provide integrated solutions to clients in the renewables sector utilising the combined resources of SHL, SOC and Subsea 7.
