Swire Projects, the projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, has appointed WorldFast and Keystone Logistic as representative agents in South Korea and Japan, respectively.

Swire Projects expands representation in Asia

In South Korea, WorldFast diversified its services to include projects and breakbulk shipping in 2010. Now with a dedicated heavy lift and projects team, the company provides project forwarding services for oversized, heavy and high value cargo.

Swire Projects said that WorldFast’s established connections with notable local clients, leading EPCs and related partners, make it an ideal partner in South Korea.

Keystone Logistic, meanwhile, is a leading cargo agent and forwarder specialised in breakbulk, project and heavy lift cargo. Swire Projects pointed to the company’s extensive knowledge of the projects and heavy lift sector, coupled with close relations with local and global industry conglomerates, as being instrumental in raising its profile and supporting important clients in the Japanese market.

On the appointments of WorldFast and Keystone Logistic, Namir Khanbabi, general manager of Swire Projects, said: “Their deep understanding of the market and extensive industry connections make them valuable partners in expanding our market coverage. By leveraging their expertise and relationships, we aim to strengthen our presence in these important markets and better serve our clients.”
