UK transport engineering specialist Allelys has appointed Matthew Taylor as operations director.
The company said Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business having held global HSE roles and operational director level executive positions previously.
“As the heavy lift and specialist transport industry continues to change, it’s important that the business adapts and responds. The experience that Matthew brings to the team will allow him to quickly identify where improvements can be made to ensure that we move with the market and retain our position in the industry,” said David Allely, director at Allelys.
Commenting on his appointment, Taylor said: “I recognise that the solutions Allelys provide and the sectors we work in present challenges in terms of operational delivery and managing risk, however I’m passionate about introducing the most effective techniques and technologies into the business. I’ve worked within high hazard industries including oil and gas, nuclear and heavy manufacturing for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy leading transformation projects.”
