July 7 - From early 2017, A2SEA will use its offshore installation vessel, Sea Challenger, to install 91 Siemens 6 MW turbines for the 580 MW Race Bank offshore wind farm in the UK.
A2SEA signed a contract with Dong Energy to assist in the construction of the Race Bank farm, which is located approximately 27 km off Blakeney Point on the UK's north Norfolk coast.
When fully commissioned in 2018, the offshore wind farm is expected to provide enough electricity to power 400,000 homes.
