May 2 - Crosby CLAMP-CO has developed a new beam clamp that will meet the needs of larger and longer steel bridge designs.
The clamp has a 55-tonne working load limit, a jaw opening for flange widths of 914 mm to 1,397 mm and flange thickness of up to 102 mm. The new clamp will allow for faster and easier erection of larger beams being used in bridge construction, says the company.
