THLG heads to Helsinki for first customer event

The Heavy Lift Group (THLG) is holding its inaugural customer day to help its members offer better services to clients.

The event, taking place alongside the network’s 65th conference, will be held at the Hotel Kamp in Helsinki, Finland on November 8.

Invited guests include Andritz and Valmet, both global suppliers of technology, equipment and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries, as well as Outotec – a developer of technology and services for the sustainable use of the Earth's natural resources.

Speakers include Andrew Davies and Mart van Hoorn of Sarens, the engineering and transport specialist; Bernd Schwengsbier, managing director of Scheuerle, a leading manufacturer of road vehicles, modular transporters, industrial and special vehicles; and Paul Furlonger and Martin Banns of Antonov Airlines.

In addition, the British Ambassador to Finland, Tom Dodd, will give a speech on UK and international trade and answer questions about Brexit.
