The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has revealed the shortlist for its annual Freight Service Awards.

The winners of last year's BIFA Freight Service Awards.

Shortlisted for the project forwarding award, sponsored by Peter Lole Insurance Brokers, are Moto Freight, OIA Global, Pentagon Freight and Spatial Global.

Charles Kendall Freight, Dimerco Express, Evolution Forwarding, Metro Shipping, Noatum Logistics have been shortlisted for the air cargo services award, sponsored by IAG Cargo.

The European logistics award finalists are Davies Turner, Nextday Freight, Noatum Logistics, Simpex Express. This category is sponsored by TT Club.

For the extra mile award, sponsored by Descartes, Brunel Air Cargo, Hemisphere Freight Services, Jordon, Ligentia have been shortlisted.

Spatial Global, Ucargo, Unsworth and Westbound Logistics have been shortlisted for the ocean services award, sponsored by Port Express.

Asap Cargo, Morgan Cargo, Regional Express, Tigers Global Logistics have been selected as the finalists for the specialist services award, sponsored by Forward Computers.

Four companies – Core Management Logistics, Dachser, Morrison Freight, Unsworth – have been shortlisted for the staff development award, while B&H Worldwide, Davies Turner, Unsworth, and Zencargo have been nominated for the supply chain management award. These categories are sponsored by Albacore Systems and BoxTop Technologies, respectively.

The finalists in the apprentice of the year category – sponsored by Outsource – are Thomas Frost, Geodis Freight Forwarding; Holly Herron, Dachser; Jack Reddington, Hemisphere Freight Services; and Sarah Griffiths, DPD Group.

The finalists in the young freight forwarder category, which is sponsored by Virgin Atlantic Cargo, are Jamie Abbott, Morrison Freight; Jenna Morgan, Wallis Shipping; Sophie Rye, Kerry Logistics; and Mitchell West, DB Schenker.

The winner of each category will be announced at the BIFA Freight Service Awards luncheon ceremony on January 16, 2020 at the Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.
