FIATA searches for director general

The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) is seeking a new director general to succeed Hans Guenther Kersten.

FIATA has proposed that the role be based in Geneva, Switzerland and anticipates the recruitment process to last a minimum of three months.

“The changing face of global trade and emerging trends in e-commercewill be high on the agenda for the new director general,” explained FIATA president Babar Badat. “For a person wishing to be at the cutting edge of international trade and logistics this role at FIATA will be that challenge.”
