Gordon Dadds places Ince & Co into administration

Gordon Dadds has placed Ince & Co LLP (Ince UK) into administration, the former confirming that it acquired the London-based law firm on December 31, 2018.

Gordon Dadds said the move was completed for technical reasons, as it could not agree on income and balances owed to Ince & Co from its international offices. The process, known as a pre-packaged insolvency plan, will not affect the takeover plans.

The merged company will operate as Ince Gordon Dadds. This includes the Shanghai and Beijing practises, which are branches of the London firm.

While the offices of Ince International were not acquired, Ince & Co has agreed to enter into network arrangements with Gordon Dadds. These offices will continue to trade as Ince & Co.
