DFDS will deploy its recently delivered newbuild ro-ro vessel Hollandia on its services from the port of Gothenburg, Sweden.

The ship was built at Jinling Shipyard in China and measures 237.4 m long. It can carry up to 450 trailers and will replace Petunia Seaways on DFDS’ services connecting Gothenburg and the Belgian ports of Ghent and Zeebrugge.

“The cargo transported between the countries includes vehicles, industrial components, steel and forest products, all of which are in high demand,” said Jacob Minnhagen, senior business development manager at the Gothenburg Port Authority.
