December 9 - Move One has completed of the latest delivery of oversized cargo to Camp Lemonier, part of an ongoing delivery service to Djibouti.

The 12 tonne generator was delivered by truck from Djibouti port to the US Navy base of Camp Lemonier. "All approvals for oversized transport were obtained and the permit was provided for entry in Camp Lemonier," says Miroslav Gerogievski, Move One's Cargo operations coordinator for Africa.

"The generator was customs exempted and delivered without any problems within three days from arrival at the port."

Camp Lemonier is the only US military base in Africa. Situated in close proximity to Djibouti's Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport, it is home to the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) of the US Africa Command (USAFRICOM). First established as the primary base in the region for the support of Operation Enduring Freedom - Horn of Africa (OEF-HOA), it now serves as a hub for US and Coalition forces operating in the Horn of Africa. Access is based on an agreement between the US Embassy in Djibouti and the Djiboutian government allowing use of the camp, as well as nearby airport and port facilities.

Move One explains that it has been extensively involved in projects for military, natural resource exploration, infrastructure rehabilitation, and humanitarian aid in Africa.

This has been accompanied by a significant expansion of its operations and improvements to the company's established network of partners.
