North American project freight forwarder Ambercor Shipping USA has transported a 140-ton (127-tonne) mill shell from Tianjin, China, to Houston, USA.

The mill shell measured 17.45 m x 5.21 m x 5.21 m and was loaded in Tianjin before being discharged at the port of Houston. Here, the heavy lift unit was placed onto a specialised trailer, which minimised handling and kept operations efficient. From Houston, the mill shell will be delivered to a fly ash processing plant in North Dakota.
Ambercor Shipping USA is a member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC). Last March, the firm – alongside Origin FGL Lojistik – managed the shipment of two rotors from Türkiye to the USA.
