Laso began the project in November 2025 and is responsible for coordinating the full logistics operation of the project, which involves multiple points or origin, oversized components and demanding routes to the installation site.

Cargoes are originating from several strategic locations – both nationally and internationally. In Portugal, blades are being transported from Aveiro, and other components are being dispatched from the port of Leixões. The towers, meanwhile, are being transported from Aranda de Duero, Spain, and a significant share of components is being shipped from Denmark.

For its scope of work, Laso has mobilised equipment such as blade lifters, modular axle lines, self-loaders, modular tube carriers, gantry systems and mobile cranes.

The project is expected to be wrapped up in the first quarter of 2026.

HLPFI reported last week that Laso is ramping up its fleet and infrastructure with EUR30 million (USD34.9 million) worth of investment.
