B&H Worldwide, working closely with training device provider Pacific Simulators (PacSim), provided end-to-end logistics for the move, with the company opting to move the cockpit via ocean transport. The operation began with B&H’s UK transport and warehouse team collecting the cockpit in West Sussex, before being packed into a 20 ft (6.1 m) container at the company’s Heathrow facility. The cockpit was shipped from Southampton to Christchurch, before the B&H’s New Zealand team handled the final stages – including Customs clearance and delivery.

“This successful delivery proves our capability to handle projects of any scale and scope, providing our customers with full transparency and confidence throughout the entire supply chain,” said Lee Hedges, branch manager at B&H Worldwide in New Zealand.

With extensive experience in custom-building simulators, PacSim will repurpose the cockpit into an advanced A330 flight training device.
