UK-based Denholm Project Forwarding has coordinated the delivery of a range of out-of-gauge cargoes, including four imported superheaters.
The cargoes were transported from Southampton to Newport for a new energy plant. Low-loaders were privately escorted on a Sunday afternoon and safely delivered by 07:00 the following Monday, therefore avoiding the need for a police escort and heavy weekday traffic.
To accommodate transportation on a Sunday, Denholm Project Forwarding also coordinated temporary secure quayside storage.
