deugro Dubai, in cooperation with Al Faris Group, has delivered a 179.2-tonne reactor from Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) to a Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) substation.
The reactor was stored at a port laydown area on customised stools and beams fabricated by Al Faris, and moved using a 14-axle hydraulic trailer.
Due to the restricted area at the substation site, Al Faris deployed a ten-axle PST/SL-E self-propelled trailer from Goldhofer to manoeuvre the component.
The reactor was subsequently installed using a jacking and skidding system.
