Chinese freight forwarder Topline Express Logistics (TEL) coordinated delivery of two large cryogenic storage tanks from Nantong to Taicang, China, and onward travel to Port Kembla in Australia.
Each tank measured 23 m x 4.85 m 4.6 m and weighed 101 tonnes. For this project, TEL was responsible for barge chartering, ocean vessel chartering, documentation, and export Customs clearance.
TEL – Project Cargo Network (PCN) members in China – worked closely with the Chinese supplier, ocean carrier, and Australian customer, ensuring that possible barge detention and ocean vessel demurrage were circumvented.
