Heavy lift and transport engineering company Hareket has delivered 15 wind turbines in Türkiye, including the longest wind turbine blades ever moved in the country.
Measuring 90.29 m in length and weighing 28.8 tonnes, Hareket transported 15 of the Goldwind GW182 blades along a 520 km route.
The heaviest items weighed 88 tonnes. At certain points, traffic had to be redirected to use the opposite carriageway, and modular panel bridges were used to strengthen sections of the road.
Separately, Hareket said that it invested in a Goldhofer FTV850 blade lifter, which offers high levels of stability with a low ballast weight.
HLPFI reported earlier this month that Hareket had deployed a 2,200-tonne capacity Sany crawler crane for Abu Dhabi bridge lift.
