December 2 - Antwerp-based Fast Lines has time-chartered the Flinterbright to operate between Antwerp and St Petersburg for the next six months.
Flinterbright sails under the Dutch flag and can handle up to 3,500 tonnes of cargo.
Fast Lines owns and operates five box-shaped coaster vessels ranging from 2,000 dwt up to 3,100 dwt, which sail on a regular basis between Russia (St Petersburg), Poland (Szczecin, Gdansk, Gdynia), the UK (Flixborough, Howdendyke, Boston, Seaham, London, Goole), Ireland (Drogheda, Belfast), Belgium (Antwerp, Ghent) and the Netherlands (Flushing, Rotterdam).
Other European destinations from the Baltic to the Mediterranean Sea are called on inducement.
