UTC St. Petersburg and COLI team-up

November 10 - United Transport Company St. Petersburg (UTC) and Germany-based COLI Schiffahrt & Transport have formed a joint venture.

In a joint statement, the companies explained that while UTC St. Petersburg and COLI Group Hamburg have worked together on a case-by-case basis for more than two decades, the cooperation has been strengthened under a basic agreement to collaborate in a more exclusive way.

UTC was established in 2003 as an agent and broker focusing on providing transport support services for the export from Russia of electrical power plant equipment and technical goods, plus the import of containerised cargoes.

The COLI Group was established in 1974 as an agent and broker focusing on project cargoes and breakbulk.
