Aaras handles complex cargoes through Karachi

December 17 - Aaras Shipping Agencies chartered the multipurpose vessel Hibiscus Lily to ship various heavy items into Karachi Port in Pakistan.

Aaras is member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) and Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) global networks in Pakistan. In a statement, it said that the cargoes included crawler cranes and bulldozers, auto transformers and spares, cryogenic liquid gas tanks, as well as a oil heating unit and accessories with a gross weight of 70 tonnes.

In port, Aaras also handled the lift of ten items of transformer equipment and spares, each weighing 116 tonnes.

The company provided Customs clearance, transportation, heavy lift handling of units, loading, unloading, packing of cargoes and lashing of cargoes.
