AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has launched a bi-weekly service to Budapest, Hungary to accommodate growing cargo volumes between Europe and Asia.

The new service, deploying one of ABC’s Boeing 747 freighters, adds to the airline’s network of 11 destinations in Europe.

Sergey Lazarev, general director at ABC, said: “Budapest has been expanding, upgrading its facilities, infrastructure, and solutions for freighter carriers and following a cargo-friendly strategy.

“Its central location in Europe makes Budapest Airport a perfect location for carriers operating between Asia and Europe.”

The Tuesday and Saturday flights will guarantee up to 139 tons (126 tonnes) of available capacity and will be available to all types of cargo.
