April 2 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has added twice-weekly flights to Los Angeles to its North American freighter schedule, connecting the US West Coast with its global network.

ABC began operations to the North American market in 2011 and already serves Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.

"Launching Los Angeles flights is part of our ongoing commitment to develop our presence in the US market and follows strong customer interest in both China and the United States," said Robert van de Weg, ABC's senior vice president, sales and marketing.

Hendrik Falk, ABC's vice president North and South America, added: "In 2014, ABC increased its weekly Boeing 747 freighter services through Chicago to seven frequencies per week and opened a second route to Dallas/Fort Worth. With the start of our summer 2015 schedule, we have increased this number to nine and thus provided our customers with even more delivery solutions to Europe, Russia and beyond.
