November 17 - Organisers of the sixth Airships to the Arctic conference, to be held in Seattle, USA, on December 5 and 6, 2011, have published changes and alterations to the programme of the two-day event.

Topics to be covered at the event that may be relevant to HLPFI visitors include: Cargo Airships; Operator's Perspective on Transport Airships; and What would the Airship mean to the North?

Lockheed and several other aerospace companies see modern airships as a low-carbon future for the cargo industry, say organisers of the conference, while the operational potential of flying heavy lift and project cargo to areas lacking road, rail and airportinfrastructure investments will be explored at the event.
